⇒CYTOPLASME, CYTOPLASMA, subst. masc.
BIOL. Portion protoplasmique de la cellule comprise entre le noyau et la membrane. Cytoplasme fondamental, périnucléaire, périphérique, ovulaire. La nature des granulations que l'on voit apparaître a pu être déterminée. Ce sont des lipides qui s'accumulent ainsi dans le cytoplasma (J. VERNE, Vie cellul., 1937, p. 56) :
